The human race created by nature is a composite body with equal contribution of both sexes, male and female. However, certain norms and customs established by society over time have been constructed differently for both sexes. These structures were designed to make men superior and women inferior, thus relegating the female gender to a secondary status that continues today. The idea that female children are an economic burden in the society is still rooted in the society due to this structural system. Based on this, in Vasanthi's novels, the female child is destroyed while still in the mother's womb, and the female children who escape the womb murder and die of starvation and the girls who escape these two stages are sheltered in orphanages. Based on gender difference, this article aims to clarify the ability to analyze the reason why the birth of male children is welcomed and the reason why the birth of female children is hated and to highlight the methods to eliminate this.
