About the Journal

Man is seen as the best animal among the world's creatures. Sometimes what he thinks and does is innovative. With 11 years of experience in the publishing industry, Masivan Publishing House has published more than 60 research books. Also, the field started from April 2021 only in Tamil language Pulam: International Journal of Tamilology  Studies has been playing its role in the field of research by getting Citation on various websites.

We have started this journal online to easily reach researchers not only for Tamil but also for other languages and  their research needs. The Institute's second journal, which publishes only innovative studies in the field, is Masivan: A Journal of Language and Literature.              

There is no explanation for the word Masivan. It is a causal noun. This is also the name of the publishing house. Therefore, it is self-explanatory that this name has no separate meaning.              

The research field has several dimensions. Since it is not possible to publish all these dimensions in a single language research paper, the institute has carried out multilingual studies. Researchers in language and literature are invited to submit their research.

Aims and Scope

The scope of the journal "MASIVAN : JOURNAL OF LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE STUDIES" encompasses a wide range of topics related to the study of language, literature, and literary studies. These may include, but are not limited to:

  • Theoretical and applied linguistics, including phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, pragmatics, and sociolinguistics
  • The study of literary texts, including literary history, literary theory, and literary criticism
  • The study of literary genres, including poetry, drama, fiction, and non-fiction
  • The study of literary movements and periods, including Tamil literature, Modern literature, and Post-modern literature
  • The study of Tamil and English literatures, including comparative literature, translation studies, and intercultural communication
  • The study of language and literature in relation to other disciplines, such as philosophy, psychology, sociology, and anthropology
  • The study of language acquisition and language learning, including second language acquisition and foreign language learning
  • The study of language and literature in education, including language education and literary education.
  • The journal welcomes original research articles, review articles, case reports, and short communications in all areas of language and literature.

Frequency of publication

This journal has publishing Two issues per year. Also conduct varies seminar on online and publish a good research article.

Language

Articles will be published in Tamil and English only.

Starting year : Masivan : Journal of Language and Literature Studies started at July 2024

Format of publication – Online

  • Two Issues per year of MASIVAN : JOURNAL OF LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE STUDIES  will be published in the months of January and July.
  • This journal has all the rights to publish the articles as a book.
  • Research writings upload to ‘MASIVAN : JOURNAL OF LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE STUDIES’ website and will be assessed by two professors of the board and it will be published only after their approval.
  • Plagiarism is checked in and the plagiarized works will be rejected by the board.
  • Research articles published in ‘MASIVAN : JOURNAL OF LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE STUDIES’ can be downloaded for free.
