This study offers a comparative analysis of the works of Aravind Adiga and Vikas Swarup, highlighting their literary engagement with a range of contemporary societal issues in India. The paper explores the ways, in which individuals confront present-day challenges, drawing attention to the authors' unique yet overlapping perspectives on social realities. Their novels vividly depict social struggles, personal conflicts, and pressing socio-cultural concerns, providing valuable insight into India's rapidly transforming social landscape. Through a lens of social realism, Adiga and Swarup authentically represent the complexities of Indian life, a quality that has earned them international acclaim and literary recognition.
